On Monday morning, the Carolina Hurricanes held a press conference with Rod Brind’Amour and Don Waddell who both met with the local media.
My first take from the meeting is that I would not expect too many changes in the future over the way they are doing things. They consider themselves to be very successful and are very pleased to be “knocking on the door”.
They would bring back everyone if they could but of course, it is doubtful that could happen.
They started out by saying that the deal with Rod and his coaching staff had been completed earlier and they were happy to announce it yesterday.
