Flashes Come Back to Draw with Arizona State

TEMPE, Ariz. – Alanna Raimondo scored the second goal of her collegiate career on Sunday as the Kent State women's soccer team forced a 1-1 draw with Arizona State in Tempe on Sunday.

The Sun Devils were able to break the scoreless draw after both sides traded shots early on, finding the first goal in 15th minute. The Golden Flashes turned up the defensive intensity when they found themselves down a goal and held Arizona State to just one other shot on goal for the rest of the match.

The Flashes trailed heading into the halftime break, but the short reprieve from the desert sun put new life into the squad, who started the second half off with sweltering pace.
