A pair of Virginia Cavaliers baseball players heard their name called in the MLB Draft yesterday evening with catcher Kyle Teel joining the Boston Red Sox at pick #14 and third baseman Jake Gelof entering the Los Angeles Dodgers organization as the 60th overall selection. Both Teel and Gelof had stellar third seasons at UVA in 2023 which closed out record-setting careers that included a pair of trips to Omaha and the College World Series.
